The origins of energy

Focus Eco Center, in Romania, made a video presenting the interdependency between the sun and all ecological systems. It shows the use of energy from water and biomass, the right use of these resources but also the possibilities of misuse and overuse, resulting in deforestation and destruction of the ecological systems. This means destroying existing ecosystem services and potentially polluting local water resources. This video also highlights the consequences of our modern lives and starts a reflection on our consumption based lifestyle: do we indeed need so much energy?
