Our life is digital and interactive, but need not be inactive. We spend our days staring at computer screens and connecting with contacts on our smartphone. Real life and genuine experiences will pass those who do not take the time to look up from their screens by. Wouldn’t it be nice to pop out for a bite to eat without our lunch buddy constantly squinting down at their phone out of the corner of their eye all the time?
It is particularly important for kids to get out and explore the world. Why not follow a hidden forest trail instead of following the latest technology trends? Our obsession with gadgets not only makes us sloth-like, socially inept loners but also plays a major role in the disintegration of our environment. Instead of insisting on a new phone every year, switch off more often and experience real life.
